Paper / Terms
Terms of use
Effective October 19, 2026 · End-user license terms
Paper is provided for authorized internal use by D2 Production Services and people D2 permits to work with it.
Permission to use Paper
Subject to these terms and D2’s authorization, you may use Paper for D2’s legitimate business work within the permissions assigned to your account. This permission is limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable and ends when D2 withdraws your access. Paper is not offered as a public accounting or payment service.
Responsible use
Use your own approved account, protect access credentials and report suspected unauthorized access promptly. Do not share a session, bypass permissions, access another person’s private information without authorization, upload malicious content, disrupt the service or use Paper unlawfully.
Only enter information you are authorized to use. Do not place passwords, provider keys, employee PINs or unrelated sensitive personal information into notes, chat or uploaded documents. Supported provider credentials belong only in the protected administrator setup flow.
Records, approvals and decisions
Check schedules, amounts and proposed changes before approval. AI suggestions, drafts, mock examples and connection checks are not approved business records or evidence that another system was updated. Paper approvals must follow the configured policy and be given by an authorized person.
QuickBooks remains authoritative for confirmed accounting records, tax and payment state. Lasso-confirmed assignments and operational times remain separate from Paper plans. No future feature is promised merely because a provider appears in Paper’s interface.
Connected providers
Only a person with the necessary authority may authorize a provider connection. Provider accounts and services are subject to their own terms and availability. The current QuickBooks capability is a read-only company-access check after OAuth authorization; it does not send invoices, collect payments or synchronize accounting records. Google checks are limited to configured sources, and sending and writing are not enabled.
A provider action is complete only when the relevant system confirms it. Offline or pending actions must not be treated as confirmed. You may remove a Paper connection and separately revoke the provider’s grant through that provider.
Business information and software
Using Paper does not transfer ownership of D2’s business information. Access to software and records does not grant permission to resell Paper, redistribute its code, expose company data or sublicense another provider’s services. Any separately agreed development, employment or commercial terms continue to govern the rights and responsibilities they address.
Privacy
The Paper privacy notice describes information use, connected services, security, retention and privacy requests. Follow D2’s confidentiality and information-handling rules when using the workspace.
Availability and changes
Paper may be updated, maintained or temporarily unavailable. Features under development are not a guarantee of future delivery. Keep operational contingency procedures appropriate to D2’s work, and verify important decisions against accepted records. These terms do not replace any separate service commitment or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Ending access
D2 may suspend or withdraw access when authorization ends or to address misuse or a security concern. Ending access or disconnecting a provider does not itself delete business records or audit history. An authorized administrator can coordinate records and retention requests.
Support and updates
Contact contact@gridwell.studio for technical support, privacy questions or reports of an access problem. Updated terms will identify a new effective date; material changes will be communicated to authorized users before they apply.
